Koenraad Elst thinks he is like Lord Krishna

Only crazy persons with an inferiority complex can state, "Koenraad Elst or Vamdev Shastri would make very good PM."

Do you know that Koenraad Elst imagines himself to be like Lord Krishna who had thousands of Gopis as his companions? If any crazy persons do succeed in making him the Prime Minister of India, they would definitely give Koenraad Elst a golden chance to fulfill his desire of romancing with thousands of women.

White persons like Koenraad Elst only believe in exploiting the Hindus for their own personal gains of making massive amounts of money, and for using that money to indulge in all types of pleasures. Koenraad Elst is unfit to be even a minister in any country of the world.

Friends,

I was reading an old SciFi prediction courtsey HG Wells written in the early 1900's, where he draws pictures of 21st century cities. All hovercrafts, skywalks, glass & metal; no trees, no grass, no water.

But as we see, 21'st century cities are more like a snapshot of the inhabitants past refuge of antiquity - they recreate Jeruzalem, York, Masada, El Dorade and the Atlantis. The street names are still the same. every new city in US still has a broad street, main street, elm street, broadway. Every home has a grass lawn, and for those who can afford, water.

If we project to a future 1000 years from now, I can still see grass and water. even though we don't eat grass, the preference is hardwired in the human gene. We will do the same things we did 1000 years back, have the same preferences, organize similarly and history will repeat itself as long as we don't tamper with our genes.

The Vedic religion is like the "grass and water" of human endeavour. Its the only one that connects our evolutionary path with modern aspiration. people may mean different thinks by "glory" etc but what we need to look for is a path that reflects our evolved predispositions. There is only one that survived, its in India.

Shadi Ji,

A brief answer to your question is that we are narrow minded because we are a close society, very inward looking, very backward thinking, do not easily lean or adopt new and innovative ideas ,thoughts or philosophies. We are comfortable with the tried and tested and shrink from anything that we are no familier with. Our economic insecurity is an added factor which prevents us from being an enterprising nation..

We need to change our thinking, remove our suspicion and fear of foreigners as the world has moved on and historic blunders are not going to be repeated because India of the twenty first century is a different country than what it was in the middle ages.  We must overcome our innate tendency to try and drag India back to its imaginary past glory which I do not think ever existed. We have a great future ahead of us but only if we are prepared to take the challenges of a growing nation in our stride and move ahead with confidence and speed.

Regards
Devinder

Devinder ji,

One must ask the question why are we so narrow minded and why are we afaird to bring new blood and pool of genes to the nation. Why do we feel so negative?:

We have been so brain washed for so many years with East India Syndrome that we even question any white person with better than ours own ability. One cannot state that we are not capbale and many fields we are better but this syndrome has made us xenophobic and that in my language is nothing but defeatist attitude . World is now a village and it should be open to all the best we can have from anywhere for our people but unfortunately we have closed our minds and thus developments. One can see Indians of all caliber working all over the world and doing much better than they would have done in India.

We have to change our present climate of negative thinking and throw the miles of red tape and remove all road blocks for progress.

Look around and see how 2 Indian firms have almost monopoly of steel production in the world and yet we have a very small part of it. Mittals grew out of India as he could not have a mall smelter even and thus went to Indonesia and started his journey from there. JRD TATA tried his best to increase his production and a new plant but was refused and look now how the youngsters have taken over the world industry. This all came after we shed some of our Nehruvian economy. We still need more liberalism to move ahead or I fear that bad days of 90's before liberalizations are coming back to haunt the nation.

I can tell you the story of Ambassador as my late cousin was the Chief Production engineer. The Nehru Govt has limited its total product-on of  cars and thus there was no way one could innovate anything. It had as my son used to say a Lawn Mover engine and gas guzzler.

we still have very closed economy and unless like the Chines and Vietnamese we become pragmatic and leave all the baggage of the past and move with the times we will suffer and poverty will increase. Industry will bring jobs, lhealthcare and education as well as middle class the back none of any nation. All these quotas on religious basis will disappear automatically. Thin of Future
Regards
shadi

This is a one off enterprise after the heart of Rajiv Gandhi. I do not think any other Indian would dare marry a white woman and bring her to India and expct us to accept her.

More seriously, there are many white Hindus who would probably make good ministers if not PMs. Since we are on this topic, I personally think (please don't lynch me) that we should shed our phony war with the East India Company and hire administrative talent in every walk of life, and from any part of the world, if we want to move ahead in the world. Alone we are only capable of a Permit Raj and a converted that eyesore Austin A-40 1952 model and proudly call it "Hindustan Ambassador". Between us we can not even produce enough gunny bags to store our handsome crop of wheat. What more can we do.

This morning Hillary Clinton has offered state of the art technology for the storage of our fresh produce from wilting and the farmer to get a good return on his products. Shed the emotibve slogans like "Keep the Wal Mart out. throw the MNC's out and we all should buy indigenous potions made by the YogPeeth Ltd, at Haridwar and we will happily live ever after.

There is a reason the Indian cricket team hires foreign coaches. Its not just shopping for the best trainer/leader out there, it also helps get over regional lobbies. From that POV there shouldn't be any ancestry bar on the PM's office provided that person has distinguished himself/herself over locally available talent significantly, and has established his/her allegance to the nation.

Koenraad Elst or Vamdev Shastri would make very good PM.
