A couple of posts earlier on this weblog I have stated that "Indeed, zionism itself - by theory and by practice - is antisemitic !" and have mentioned a few examples to prove that. Below I provide more proof of the accuracy of my statement.
Prof. Arnold Toynbee (1889-1975), the British historian, described the zionist project as follows :
"zionism and anti-Semitism are expressions of an identical point of view. The assumption underlying both ideologies is that it is impossible for Jews and non Jews to grow together into a single community, and that therefore a physical separation is the only practical way out. The watchword of anti-Semitism is "Back to medieval apartheid", the watchword of zionism is "Back to the medieval ghetto". All the far-flang ghettos in the world are to be gathered into one patch of soil in Palestine to create a single consolidated ghetto there. " ( Quoted by Moshe Menuhin - the father of Yehudi Menuhin - in his book, The Decadence of Judaism in Our Time, at page 486).
Herzl himself made the following entry in his diary on March 4, 1896 :
"My warmest adherent so far is the Presburg anti-Semite Ivan Simonyi, who bombards me with flattering editorials and sends me two copies of each issue."
Elsewhere in his diary Herzl made the following statement :
"In Paris, as I have said, I achieved a freer attitude towards anti-Semitism, which I now began to understand historically and to pardon. Above all I recognise the emptiness and futility of trying to 'combat' anti-Semitism."
J. Klatzkin, the chief ideologist of zionism in Germany during the '20s, stated in 1925 as
follows :
"Instead of establishing societies for defence against anti-Semites, who want to reduce our rights, we should establish societies for defence against our friends who desire to defend our rights."(Quoted by B. Matovu in his article, THE ZIONIST WISH AND THE NAZI DEED, Issues, winter 1966-67, at p.10).
No wonder the zionist Hebrew newspaper Yediot Aharonot reported in its February 9, 1969 issue as follows :
"It is not customary for us to talk about it in public, but many of us felt a tiny bit of joy when we read newspaper reports about the swastika epidemic in Europe in 1960 or about pro-Nazi movement in Argentina."
To keep that zionist joy going, and frightened people of Jewish background migrating to the zionist state, the zionist Gestapo has been very active in Western countries to organise such "swastika epidemics" and "pro-Nazi" movements there, including Australia.
Dr. I.M. Rabinowitch (1890-1981) was Associate Professor of Medicine at McGill University, Canada. He was an orthodox Jew, and a member of the Neturei Karta (Guardians of the Holiness of Jerusalem) , an anti-zionist organisation of genuinely orthodox Jews. In a series of articles under the title, Political Zionism and the State of Israel (Moral Issues), written in the early '70s, Dr. Rabinowitch points out the fascists methods used by the zionist apartheid regime of Israel not only against Arabs, but also against non-zionist Jews. The excerpts below were mailed to me by his friend, some 16 years ago.
The author mentions three example of persecution of Jews by the zionist apartheid regime of Israel, persecutions leading to the sudden mass emigration of some 2 million Jews from Arab countries to the zionist state as follows :
"What has caused those two million Jews to migrate - many actually to flee - to the State of Israel was not what the Arabs have done, but what Political Zionist emissaries had done in these places by their indoctrinations and by their terrorism. Three examples will alone suffice, and here again on all sides is seen Hitlerism."
The author then details the case of zionist terrorism in Egypt during 1954, as a result of which thousands of Egyptian Jews had become refugees ,as follows :
"Hitler set fire to the Reichstag and declared that the Communists had done it. Zionists agents dynamited the American information Office, American libraries, American owned theatres and American business houses in Cairo and Alexandria, and declared the Egyptians had done it. The purpose of these dynamitings was to turn the United States of America against Egypt. It was only when thirteen of the Political Zionist agents had been caught red-handed that the truth had become known. Not only had they confessed to save their skins, but revealed the locations of their workshops and secret radio-receiving sets through which they received their instructions from their superiors..."
The author then brings the second example which occurred in Iraq as follows :
"In Iraq, the Jews had lived in peace with their neighbours for over 2,000 years - since the Babylonian exile in B.C.E - until Political Zionist emissaries had indoctrinated Jewish youth and thus had caused many to migrate to the State of Israel.. But these migrations alone, having been relatively small, did not satisfy the Political Zionist leaders. To cause the Iraqi Jews to flee to the State of Israel their answer was terrorism. In 1967, for their propaganda, Political Zionists showed newspaper correspondents destruction of fifty-seven synagogues in the old city of Jerusalem by the Arabs. What they did not tell these newspaper correspondents were the deliberate destruction by Political Zionist agents of Synagogues in Baghdad by throwing into them explosives to create panic to cause Jews to flee to the State of Israel. (Emphasis is in the original -B.M.)
Nor was this all. Jews who refused to panic were beaten up, and because of his declaration "Iraqi Jews will be forever against Zionism", the Chief Rabbi of Baghdad, Rabbi Khedouri Sasson, was also badly beaten up. Thus were disrupted the homes of 124,000 Iraqi Jews. It is thus clear that the emigration of Jews from Iraq, far from being a "rescue immigration" to the State of Israel of the Political Zionist reports, was in fact the result of intensive Political Zionist activity inside Iraq.
The third example - an indication of the extent to which State of Israel autorities will go to increase the population - was this idea. Many Jews and Arabs look very much alike. Why not, therefore, disguise young healthy Israelis to appear as Arabs and have them go about the streets, beat up Jews and cut off their beards, and thus cause them flee in panic to the State of Israel ? Utterly incredible as it appeared to me at the first time, shortly after I had another report almost, but not entirely the same. And who had made this suggestion ? It was the Prime Minister of the State of Israel himself, Ben Gurion. Not only had he made it ,but it was published in his own party paper - Davar, official organ of the Mapai Party in Tel Aviv. I quote verbatim :
"I shall not be ashamed to confess that, if I had the power...I would select a score of efficient young men...and send them to countries, disguised as non-Jews,and plague the Jews with slogans, such as "bloody Jews"..."Jews go to Palestine" and similar intimacies. I can vouch that the results, in terms of considerable immigration to Israel from these countries, would be tens of thousands...which brings me to the close of the matter of humanitarianism..."
That was not the only anti-semitic activity by Ben Gurion.Before that, during the winter of 1939, he rejected the offer by the British government to save the lives of Europe's Jewish refugee children by letting them settle in Britain. Here is what Bernard Avishai wrote in his book titled,The Tragedy of Zionism (N.Y. 1985,) at page 152 :
"Several months after Kristalnacht (the first large scale pogrom in Nazi Germany), during the winter of 1939, Ben Gurion told a closed meeting of the Jewish Agency : "If I know that all the Jewish children refugees of Europe could be saved by settlement in Britain and only half could be saved by settlement in Palestine, I should chose the latter."
Would the Palestinian leaders withdraw their approval of the continued betrayal by Raji Sourani of myself and my children to the ongoing zionist Gestapo torture here, in Australia ?
