New Delhi, July 10 (IANS) The Delhi High Court has issued notice to the Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya (RPVV) and the Delhi government on a petition by a school student who was not promoted to Class 11 despite clearing his class 10 exam with 72 percent marks.
Justice Kailash Gambhir earlier this week asked the respomdents to reply by July 13.
The court was hearing the petition of Vinod Thapa, who was denied admission to the commerce stream for 2011-12 in RPVV, Lajpat Nagar in south Delhi.
Thapa's counsel Ashok Agarwal said that since the student passed his Class 10 examination from the school, he was entitled to be promoted to the next class.
