Uri Avnery, the top Israeli zionist impostor likes to brag about his past and present personal friendship and contacts with top zionist war criminals, extolling his own "importance" too. According to his accounts they trusted him and confided in him even their secrets. Similarly, he likes to brag about his contacts and friendship with top Palestinian leaders, such as Yasser Arafat and others. However, while the top zionist war criminals considered him as a fanatical zionist, who is loyal to the zionist apartheid regime of Israel , the Palestinian leaders have trusted him because he managed to fool them !
In a new zionist propaganda piece (see : http://usa.mediamonitors.net/content/view/full/78389 ) Uri Avnery is attempting once more to fool the Palestinian leaders, as well as the rest of the world. His subject now is the October War of 1973 to liberate Arab lands occupied by the zionist army since 1967. Using zionist terminology, as usual, Avnery is calling that war the "Yom Kippur War". He is using this opportunity to glorify the then zionist army officers whose "commanders were of a quality that can only be envied today."
Convincing examples of his friendship with top zionist war criminals are mentioned by him also in his account of the events leading to the 5th June 1967 zionist blitzkrieg miltary aggression and invasion of Arab countries. This account was republished by a Palestinian website : From Occupied Palestine, from where I quote below. Thus, for example, he boasts about the mutual trust between himself and Menahem Begin, the former head of Irgun and butcher of Dier Yassin, and later prime minister of the zionist apartheid regime of Israel. Begin asked him to use Ha'olam Hazeh magazine for fanning the flames of war hysteria against Egypt and Syria, leading to the 5th of June zionist blitzkrieg as follows :
"I can attest to the mood in the highest circles. A few days before the war, Menachem Begin drew me aside in the Knesset. "Uri," he said with great agitation, "we have different opinions, but in this existential crisis we all have the same aim: to save Israel. Both Begin and Avnery knew, of course, that there was no "existential crisis" other than as a zionist propaganda lie. Uri Avnery himself says it clearly here :
"When Nasser concentrated his troops in Sinai In the middle of May 1967, it seemed like an answer to this prayer (of an Israeli top military war criminal - B.M.). So, while everybody around me was numb with fright, I was not worried."
Despite that Uri Avnery went ahead to carry out Begin's instruction by fanning the flames of war hysteria in support of a zionist blitzkreig against Egypt and Syria !
Yet the Palestinian leaders still consider Avnery as their zionist darling, approving of his zionist propaganda pieces, same as they approve of Raji Sourani's betrayal of myself and my children to the ongoing zionist Gestapo torture here, in Australia.Obviously, with every passing day of Palestinian betrayal of my daughter, of my son and of myself to the zionist Gestapo; and with every passing day of the zionist Gestapo's ongoing deadly torture of us; and with every passing day of treachery by Raji Sourani and his cronies the Palestinian cause is diminished, the international solidarity with it is shrinking, and the Palestinian self inflicted disasters would multiply.
" I protest the continuous torture of the Australian citizen Benjamin Merhav by sleep deprivation and his daughter and son by psychiatric torture in Melbourne, Australia.
This torture is perpetrated against Benjamin Merhav directly by the clandestine arm of the State of Israel (the zionist Gestapo), and indirectly by the same culprit against Benjamin's daughter and son.
I demand that the Australian government instruct ASIO to protect these Australian citizens, and stop these terrorist crimes by a foreign government on Australian soil immediately !"

"I protest your refusal to investigate Benjamin Merhav's complaint against the Australian government's approval of ASIO's violation of the rule of law in Australia, regarding the continuous torture in Melbourne of himself, his daughter and his son , all Australian citizens, by the clandestine arm of the State of Israel (the zionist Gestapo).
I demand your immediate intervention to protect these Australian citizens, to stop the perpetration of these terrorist crimes In Australia, and to end these violations of the rule of law by the Australian government in Australia."
3. to the PCHR and to all the Palestinian leaders in occupied Palestine ( email english@palestine-info.co.uk ;

lines :
"I protest the betrayal of Benjamin Merhav by Raji Sourani to the zionist Gestapo's torture. I demand Sourani's replacement on the ICJ and on FIDH with a honest Palestinian patriot who would initiate protest action against the torture of Benjamin Merhav, his daughter, and his son by the zionist Gestapo in Australia.
I demand that the Palestinian leaders encourage Palestinians and their supporters to protest this ongoing terrorist torture by the zionist Gestapo, and to demand that it should stop immediately."
