Despite the demand for protein powder, research suggests that the majority of consumers are generally uneducated (although not always) about what to look for in a product to meet their training goals. The gym supplement industry is well aware of this fact and some companies are happy to promote poor quality products choosing to spend their money on marketing to generate sales as opposed to delivering products that are formulated to get the best results.
