"Quran Burning Day" & the Pandora's Box

There is a little-known wrinkle in this whole Quran-burning issue down in Florida. What I find quite intriguing is how the fact that the heavily-reported plans to burn copies of the Quran by Rev. Terry Jones was initially supposed to include the burning of the Jewish Talmud. Apparently someone got word to the "right reverend" to change his program or suffer the harsh consequences of what typically happens when anyone (save the David Dukes, Neo-Nazis, or Ahmedinejads of the world) dares to table any discourse, debate, or dialogue on the Jewish Holocaust, Zionism or that infamous highly-revered book of Judaism....the Talmud.
What if for once, the Jewish dominated television and print media allowed what is accepted as Judaism and its "sacred" texts to be openly scrutinized as the Quran and the Bible are? What if the Jewish dominated movie industry would allow movies to be made that portray the negative stereo-typical imagery of Jews and their religion as it does Muslims and Christians? To allow this Christian pastor Terry Jones to mention the Talmud and Quran in the same vane would open up a Pandora's Box.
Who remembers the fact that despite the efforts to demonize Islam in the aftermath of 9/11, interest in Islam and the Quran skyrocketed across this United States. What would happen if interest in the Talmud would experience a similar popularity. This can never be allowed to occur because the Talmud warns
"if the Gentiles (non-Jews) knew what we teach of their Messiah they would kill us openly" and
"it is unlawful for the Gentile to be taught the Talmud" and that he who teaches the Gentile what the Talmud says should be punished with death.
Imagine the impact it would have if in every masjid and Islamic center around the nation, rather than holding counter-demonstrations and effigy-burnings, there was a scholarly public discourse comparing what the Quran teaches of Jesus and what the Talmud teaches of Jesus.
the Talmud brands Jesus as an idolator
"Jesus... stood up a brick to symbolize an idol and bowed down to it. Jesus performed magic and incited the people of Israel and led them astray." -Sanhedrin 107B*
the Talmud says that Jesus "got what he deserved"
"On Passover Eve they hanged Jesus of Nazareth. He practiced sorcery, incited and led Israel astray...Was Jesus of Nazareth deserving of a search for an argument in his favor? He was an enticer and the Torah says, 'You shall not spare, nor shall you conceal him!"*
the Talmud says that Jesus is
"boiling in hot semen" - Gittin 57a*
I don't plan to attend any counter-demonstrations against the Quran-burnings. I would rather use the opportunity to maximize dawah efforts while so much attention is focused on God's Final Revelation to humanity. Of course the television cameras will not be there to broadcast any dawah efforts. However, if we are sincere, it shouldn't matter one iota....that is, if we are sincere.
