If you haven't expressed your concerns about contamination of RotaTeq vaccine with DNA from a lethal pig virus - which signals a lowering of vaccine safety standards - please consider taking action by clicking rotavirus. Let your elected officials, your local media and doctors know that you support transparency in government and high vaccine safety standards and want their support as well. NVIC has your back and advocates for informed choice, vaccine safety and transparency every day, but your voice is critically important and carries weight in your community. Breaking News New Report on Gardasil Adverse Events & Death: In an article comparing adverse clinical symptoms reported to NVIC after Gardasil vaccination, there is a description of adverse symptoms that doubled after the second injection and quadrupled after the third injection. Multiple symptoms occurred together, including chronic fatique; headache; dizziness; skin disorders; nausea; numbness; respiratory, joint, muscle and menstrual problems; inability to concentrate and seizures. Merck's Gardasil Faces Delay at FDA for Older Women - Merck is going to have to wait a little longer to see if its campaign to extend an approval for the cervical-cancer vaccine Gardasil to older women has succeeded with regulators. The pharma giant says that the FDA has extended its review period and Merck now expects a decision by the end of this year.Currently approved to guard girls and women from 9 to 26, Merck has been pushing a request to bump the top age limit to 45 for the past two years.
