This is a good begining my good wishes to organisers of this movement. Let us carry forward the torch of eradicating caste system from India and establish just a society where every bopdy is treated at par socially , politically and of course religiously.
581.	vikas pankaj	It is really a right move in the direction of creating awareness among the dalit youths and masses about the ill-deeds of the so called well and highly educated professors of the forward community. I think it is a conspiracy and well planned strategy of the high class professors to keep the dalits away from the light of education especially higher education. It can be easily proved as there are only three professors in India from the dalit community even after 63years of independence. Regarding suicides it is not only confined to Andhra Pradesh it is a problem of the whole country be it any central or state university or any institute. In IIT Kanpur there have been about 8 suicides in the last four years. Of this many are from the dalit community. On Saturday Jan 3,2009 Gangapatnam Suman, a post-graduate(M.Technology Prog.) IIT student allegedly committed suicide in Hall-8 in IIT Kanpur by hanging himself in a hostel room. He was from Hyderabad and B.Tech from JNTU,Hyderabad. pnkj.iitk@gmail.com
