- The Biotechnology Regulatory Authority of India (BRAI) bill, will be back in the winter session of Parliament. The bill will create a body which will allow genetic modification of crops in our country and threaten our food and health. The bill has to be stopped.
- Large tracts of forests in Central-eastern India face the threat of destruction. The government wants to mine coal in these forests which are home to tigers, leopards and millions of people living in them. These forests need to be saved.
- Leaders of the telecom sector made a promise to develop a detailed plan to reveal their carbon emissions and use cleaner and sustainable energy to power their network operations. They have to be reminded about fulfilling their promise.
All this work is happening because of the support from people like you. Financial support from you helps Greenpeace stay independent of government or corporate influence. This helps the organisation take-on strong corporate entities, government bodies and anyone who messes with the planet.
Can you make a financial contribution to Greenpeace India and strengthen the fight to keep our food, forests and environment safe?
You'll get a special Greenpeace organic cotton bag as a token of gratitude for your contribution. You can use it to carry your groceries and help cut down the use of plastic bags.

Thanks a billion!
