Once again, the war propaganda has invaded the mainstream media, calling for an end to the so-called massacre of Syrian civilians, as well as the overthrow of the Syrian regime.
Once again, in a country which does not advocate the Western views and interests, a chaotic situation is created by the usual suspects and which ultimately raises the issue of "humanitarian intervention" by the usual "saviours": NATO and its allies.
The social unrest in Syria is described by the mainstream media as a "peaceful protest movement". The fact of the matter is, it is an armed insurrection. And it's been planned for a long time, according to General Wesley Clark. Here's what he wrote in his book Winning Modern Wars: Iraq, Terrorism and the American Empire
"As I went back through the Pentagon in November 2001, one of the senior military staff officers had time for a chat. Yes, we were still on track for going against Iraq, he said. But there was more. This was being discussed as part of a five-year campaign plan, he said, and there were a total of seven countries, beginning with Iraq, then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Iran, Somalia, and Sudan."
In a recent article on Global Research, A "Humanitarian War" on Syria? Military Escalation. Towards a Broader Middle East-Central Asian War?, Michel Chossudovsky revealed the underlying mechanisms of the "protest movement" in Syria, and its covert connections to Western intelligence.

The mainstream media is feeding us the lies of warmongers masquerading as saviours of the "free world". However, the modus operandi is obvious to whomever takes time to analyse these events and look beyond the propaganda.
