We are currently collecting Zakaah to be distributed within the local community. During this blessed month of Ramadaan, many people have stepped forward with needs. To date, this year, we may have received in the region of $900 in total zakaah, no avg. we receive $2500-$4000 from the entire community, this amount would not suffice six or seven families in need for month. We believe this is, in part due to brothers/sisters sending zakaah overseas. We would remind you and encourage you strongly to pay your zakaah to the needy in your area (as it is intended) or else there will be no ability to facilitate the needs of those in need here in the area of Weston-Humber.  You may drop off an envelope at the masjid @ the admin office/book store.
