| Every Muslim Should Act as a Reporter Ayatollah Taskhiri, the senior Iranian cleric, has highlighted the role played by reporters and said News Agencies are the forunners who are accountable to cover accurate reports. "Those who are fully aware of the situation and the challanges ahead will not be affected by ambiguties and intrigues hatched[by enemies], but those who are not illuminated will come up with troubles", Ayatollah Mohammad-Ali Taskhiri, Secretary General of the International Society for Approximation of Islamic Schools said, marking Reporter's day in Iran which coincides the martyrdom anniversary of the Iranian reporter, Mahmoud Saremi shot dead on Aug, 8, 1998 in Afghanistan by Taliban militants. Ayatollah Taskhiri touched upon the teachings of Quran on news reporting and said to establish a news agency which follows the suit of the Holy Quran, we should follow Quranic patterns which is full understaning of truth and ensuring the realities before relaying the stores through media outlets. " This is a responsibility put on the shoulders of all world Muslims, and in that sense, every Muslim should act as a reporter and those Muslims who find the truth have to pass it to other muslims", the senior cleric reiterated. Ayatollah Taskhiri alerted against the reports aired (by world media) and said another lesson taught by the Holy book is acting prudently and avoid broadcasting reports filed by unreliable sources. "One of the orders given by the Lord to prophets was to save human being and called on them to lead man from ignorance to illumination and this responsibility is put on the shoulders of all mankind, though the elites should bear the most responsibility", Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Taskhri, Taqrib News Agency CEO (TNA) , attending the meeting told the audience.
