Barrck Obama supported Emmanuel Macronand Macron wins presidency, vows to 'fight the divisions' that undermine the country. Rival Marine Le Pen was the candidate of US President Donald Trump and Unipolar imperialism failed to insert its nominee as French President and it might prove quite a turnaround. We might rememeber Narsimha Rao regime way back in 1991 while IMF and World Bank working for United Sates of America inserted and incarnated the god of liberalism to open the floodgates of Free market with an agenda of Economic Ethnic Cleansing in India which continues unabated.

Independent centrist Emmanuel Macron, 39, who was unknown three years ago ago, has become France's youngest-ever president after an estimated 65% to 35% victory in the second round run-off against Front National's right-wing leader Marine Le Pen.As Guadrdian says,The resounding win has been hailed by his supporters as holding back a tide of populism after the Brexit vote and Donald Trump's victory in the US election.

However,Despite her loss, Le Pen's score marked a historical high point for the French right. In a defiant concession speech, Le Pen said she was leader of "the biggest opposition force" in France and vowed to radically overhaul her party. The fight continues!

You may not kill Humanity and Humanity always strikes back! No absolute power is enough to kill civilization as the forces of nature rise from the ashes like sphinx! You may not kill History nor you dare to kill ideology either. What if  Macronand Macron is known as liberal? Then French revolution had never been a communist revolution. We have to keep in mind the importance of French Revolution which killed feudal set up of absolute power forever. It changed the power structure as well as production systeme and the revolution was led bu French peasantry.he French Revolution (French: Révolution française [ʁevɔlysjɔ̃ fʁɑ̃sɛːz]) was a period of far-reaching social and political upheaval in France that lasted from 1789 until 1799, and was partially carried forward by Napoleon during the later expansion of the French Empire. The Revolution overthrew the monarchy, established a republic, experienced violent periods of political turmoil, and finally culminated in a dictatorship under Napoleon that rapidly brought many of its principles to Western Europe and beyond. Inspired by liberal and radical ideas, the Revolution profoundly altered the course of modern history, triggering the global decline of absolute monarchies while replacing them with republics and liberal democracies!

Mind you the term liberal democrat!Macronand Macron defeated Donald Trump and the zionist world order defeating rightist racist incarnation of Trump ideology of ethnic cleansing just because Macron is a liberal democrat and coincidentally the character of French revolution led by French proletariat and peasantry had been liberal democrat.

I must say the communists and liberal left should not be ashamed to praise the French Resistance against Racist Fascism.

Had  Trump ideology of ethnic cleansing incarnated and personified with Pen victory had its way as US opted for,Europe and the rest of the world had to be inflicted with Rascist fasicsm with its deadly rightist blind nationalism which is trending in India since 2014 and we never know the way out.

Rigid ideology might not be enough to defeat blind racist nationalism and liberal democrat leadership might create a space most needed to unite the deprived ninety nine percent humanity worldwide,Hence,Congratulations France that it did not opt to go backward into the dark age on US High Way of racist apartheid. The first year of the Revolution saw members of the Third Estate taking control, the assault on the Bastille in July, the passage of the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen in August, and a women's march on Versailles that forced the royal court back to Paris in October. A central event of the first stage, in August 1789, was the abolition of feudalism and the old rules and privileges left over from the Ancien Régime. The next few years featured political struggles between various liberal assemblies and right-wing supporters of the monarchy intent on thwarting major reforms. The Republic was proclaimed in September 1792 after the French victory at Valmy. In a momentous event that led to international condemnation, Louis XVI was executed in January 1793.

Outgoing president Francois Hollande, who brought Macron into politics, said the result "confirms that a very large majority of our fellow citizens wanted to unite around the values of the Republic and show their attachment to the European Union".

Centrist Emmanuel Macron has vowed to "fight the divisions" in the country after recording a resounding victory over far-right rival Marine Le Pen in the French presidential runoff election. "I have heard the anger, anxiety and doubts that a large number of you expressed," a solemn Macron said in a speech at his campaign headquarters in Paris. "I will fight with all my strength against the divisions that are undermining us," he added.

We should welcome that The 39-year-old former investment banker, who became the country's youngest-ever president, also promised to "rebuild the link between Europe and its citizens." Soon after early projections poured in, Macron said, "A new page in our long history has turned tonight" and added that he wants the result to be that of rediscovery of hope and trust.

Further addressing a victory rally, Macron stressed on the importance of building up a parliamentary majority in order to carry out much-needed changes for France. "I will do all I can during the next five years so that no-one ever has a reason again to vote for extremes," said Macron, referring to those who had voted for far-right Front National candidate Marine Le Pen. The president-elect now needs to focus on getting a majority in the lower house of parliament at elections in June.

The values and institutions of the Revolution dominate French politics to this day. The Revolution resulted in the suppression of the feudal system, the emancipation of the individual, the greater division of landed property, the abolition of the privileges of noble birth and the establishment of equality. The French Revolution differed from other revolutions in being not merely national, for it aimed at benefiting all humanity.[10]

Globally, the Revolution accelerated the rise of republics and democracies. It became the focal point for the development of all modern political ideologies, leading to the spread of liberalism, radicalism, nationalism, socialism, feminism, and secularism, among many others. The Revolution also witnessed the birth of total war by organising the resources of France and the lives of its citizens towards the objective of military conquest.[11] Some of its central documents, like the Declaration of the Rights of Man, expanded the arena of human rights to include women and slaves, leading to movements for abolitionism and universal suffrage in the next century.

Determined to eradicate the menace of terrorism, the president-elect said, "France will be at the forefront of the fight against terrorism."

France has been reeling under terror attacks over last two years, which killed over 230 people. Determined to eradicate the menace of terrorism, the president-elect said, "France will be at the forefront of the fight against terrorism."

With the vast bulk of votes counted, Macron has secured between 65 per cent and 66.1 per cent of the vote compared to between 33.9 per cent and 35 per cent for Le Pen. The result also followed a last-minute hacking attack on Macron, in which hundreds of thousands of emails and documents stolen from his campaign were dumped online on Friday.

Buoyed over the outcome, the euro surged to its highest level since November. The election result was also a referendum on the fate of the European Union. The high-octane divisive election campaign saw both candidates spar over the country's role in the EU. While Le Pen advocated anti-EU and anti-globalisation programme, Macron put forward a pro-EU stance.

Despite conceding defeat, Le Pen claimed a "historic, massive result" for the far right in the presidential run-off. She said her National Front party needed to be overhauled in order to create a "new political force."

She also called the president-elect and wished him success. "I called Mr Macron to congratulate him on his election, and because I have the country's higher interest at heart I wished him success faced with the huge challenges France is facing," she told supporters at a post-election FN gathering in Vincennes near Paris.

Macron, however, will face a mounting challenge to implement his programme while trying to unite a fractured and demoralised country. He is aiming to enact his domestic agenda of cutting state spending, easing labour laws, boosting education in deprived areas and extending new protections to the self-employed.

With many analysts being sceptical about Macron's ability to win a majority with En Marche candidates alone, he might have to form a coalition of lawmakers committed to his agenda. In addition, his economic agenda, particularly plans to weaken labour regulations to fight stubbornly high unemployment, are likely to face fierce resistance from trade unions and his leftist opponents.
