Statement in support of People's War of the Indian popular masses
The Association of Proletarian Solidarity joins the international week in support of people's war of the Indian popular masses launched by the International Committee to Support People's War in India.
The protracted revolutionary people's war led by the Communist Party of India (Maoist) (CPI (M)) and the resistance of the Indian popular masses against the war unleashed by the Indian state against its own people is one of the brightest expressions of the renaissance of the communist movement.
The indigenous popular masses and the CPI(m) that enlivens and guides their resistance have checked the war of extermination planned by the reactionary government in New Delhi and supported by the multinationals of exploitation, war and environmental devastation. In the face of each blow suffered the Indian Maoists have always managed to get up, gather new forces around them and emerge strengthened. No class enemy can break the resistance of a Communist Party able to unite with its people and to become expression of their aspirations.
The struggle of the Indian popular masses against exploitation, war, plunder of natural resources and environmental devastation is the same struggle the popular masses of our country are carrying out, and the enemy is the same. For this reason the struggle of the Maoists and indigenous Indian masses is our struggle. For this reason, during the week of struggle (2/9 April 2011) we shall act for the construction of an initiative to support the people's war of the Indian popular masses that will be held on Saturday, 30th April at Carrara.
Long live the protracted revolutionary people's war of the Indian popular masses!
Stop the genocide and war of extermination against the peoples of India!
Stop the military operation Green Hunt and the crimes against humanity committed by the Indian government!
