It is no wonder that Uri Avnery, the top Israeli zionist impostor, continues week by week to churn out zionist propaganda pieces. That's his job, and it has been so for many years now. The question is : what makes a Palestinian like Ramzy Baroud persist in promoting this zionist propaganda by republishing it on the Palestine Chronicle website of which he is the editor ? Even a more intriguing puzzle is the ongoing tacit approval by all the Palestinian leaders of this republishing (without any reservation !) of those zionist propaganda pieces. Let us then check the latest piece by Avnery to see of what interest it is to the Palestinians and/or to their supporters.
The original title of the Avnery piece is :" Thou Shalt Not Kill (Thyself)". To make it palatable to Palestine Chronicle readers Baroud replaced it with : "'Jewish State' Committing Suicide" (see :http://www.palestinechronicle.com/view_article_details.php?id=19106). However, the text of the piece remains the same as in the original, and it is entirely zionist propaganda, of course. Thus, for example, Avnery is telling the following "joke"to his readers :
"It goes like this: many Israelis ask God for their state to be Jewish and democratic, and that it will include the entire country between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River. That is too much even for the Almighty. So he asks them to choose between a state that is Jewish and democratic but only in part of the country, or a state in all the country that is Jewish but not democratic, or a state in the entire country that is democratic but not Jewish. To which I would add a fourth option: A Jewish and democratic state in the entire country, but only after driving out all the Arabs – some 5.5 million at this point, and growing quickly.
This is the choice facing us today as it did almost 45 years ago. It has only become more sharply defined.
For any foreseeable future, the fourth alternative can be excluded. The circumstances which led, in 1948, to the expulsion of more than half the Palestinian people from the territory that became Israel were unique, and not likely to return in the coming decades. So we must deal with the present demographic reality."(Emphasis in red added - B.M.).
Avnery's "fourth option" - which proves that he remains the same fanatical zionist that he has been all his life ! - is the total ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians from the entire area of historic Palestine ! Note that he does not condemn this criminal option ! He only says that it is not as practical now as it had been during the Nakba of 1948 ! Ramzy Baroud agrees with him,obviously, and all the Palestinian leaders approve of this criminal thinking too !
Let them all remember the article published by Ramzy Baroud's Palestine Chronicle recently, an article titled, Anti-Zionism in the 21st Century, by Dr. Tariq Shadid (see : http://www.palestinechronicle.com/view_article_details.php?id=17740 ). Ignoring it - as they all seem to be doing - is helping the zionist enemy!
