This is to confirm the dates and venue of the 4th National convention of Jan Sansad organised by NAPM Andhra Pradesh. Here are the details :
Dates : September 17, 18, 2011
Place : Nellore (A.P.). Nellore is 35 km from Gudur and 175km from Chennai. It is on Chennai- Vijaywada-Delhi main Railway line. Some trains do not stop at Nellore, so get down at Gudur. The nearest airport is Chennai Junction.
Venue : Town Hall, Nellore.

Nellore has been chosen to hold the convention, since 49 thermal power plants are proposed and local people are struggling against them. Convention will contribute to their struggles.

12.00-1.30 : Ist Session : To chalk out the programme of East Coast March against nuclear plants. SEZs and antifishworkers' policies.
1.30-3.00 : Lunch
3.00-4.45 : 2nd Session : Problem of Land Acquistion, Draft of New LA Bill 2011.
4.45-5.00 : Tea Break
5.00-6.30 : Chalk out plans for anti nuclear day, anti POSCO day, support to POSCO movement and planning for central India Antinuclear March.
