Hi all,

Please find attached the Press Release for the Peacefull Protest Rally on Saturday, the 29th of January, 2011 to protest against the unjust treatment meted out to Sourav Ganguly by KKR Management.

We are sending this letter on behalf of thousands of citizens alike who have been profoundly pained at the exclusion and subsequent humiliation of Sourav Ganguly from the Kolkata Knight Riders and the injustice done by other franchises as well.

We are organizing a Protest Rally to support our national icon and also to protest against the unjust treatment meted out to Sourav Ganguly.

 

We have already successfully conducted a Silent March on the 16^th of January, 2011 which was quite a success. It was covered by Media giants like NDTV, CNN IBN, 24 Ghanta, Mahua Bangla, Kolkata TV, Ne Bangla, Times Of India, India Blooms, Anandabazar Patrika, Aaj Kal, etc. The support from the general public was humongous to say the least. Almost 1500 people joined us in our march from Victoria Memorial to Eden Gardens.

 

 Two groups namely "No Ganguly No Eden" from Orkut and "No Dada No KKR" from facebook have joined hands to come up with these protests. We also enjoy a total member base of over 70000 from across India through various social networking sites.

 

We are organizing 'A Peaceful Protest Rally' again to show our solidarity for this movement, on 29th January 3Pm to 5Pm from Victoria Memorial Hall (Queen's gate) to Eden Gardens (CAB.

 

We need your support to make our voice reach out to several thousands of Ganguly fans and let justice be served.
