At least two Palestinian websites continue to republish Uri Avnery's zionist propaganda pieces. The latest piece deals with the subject which is the favourite of the zionist propaganda machine: "anti-semitism". Once more Avnery diverts the attention of Palestinians and their supporters from the most important and most urgent issues, such as the hunger strike of Palestinian political prisoners, particularly that of Anna' Ash-Shalabi; and such as the continued zionist theft of Palestinian water resources in the West Bank; and such as the ongoing daily zionist crimes by the illegal zionist settlers with the support of the zionist army against the Palestinian population of the West Bank; and such as the persecution, arrest, torture, imprisonment, and even killing of Palestinian children in the West Bank and in the Gaza Strip of occupied Palestine. Avnery is very good at diverting his readers' attention from major zionist crimes to some trivial issues to occupy their minds with.
Avnery's silence on the zionist crimes, as well as his diversions to serve the zionist apartheid regime of Israel, are all acceptable to these two Palestinian websites' editors, as they republish Avnery's zionist poison without any reservation (albeit with the tacit approval of all the Palestinian leaders !). This promotion of Avnery with his zionist propaganda cannot be blamed any longer on the gullibility of the editors. For Palestine Chronicle's editor, Ramzy Baroud, this seems to be part of a determined long term effort to promote zionist impostors like Uri Avnery and his ilk (see his change of Avnery's title to make the piece more palatable to the readers : http://www.palestinechronicle.com/view_article_details.php?id=19189). The AMIN editor seems to follow in Baroud's footsteps, although he did republish the original Avnery piece without changing the title (see : http://www.amin.org/articles.php?t=ENews&id=3853). Let us now check the Avnery piece itself to see what it does to its not so well informed readers.
Already the opening sentence displays the inherent contradiction which bedevils all zionist impostors as follows : "RACIST HATE crimes are particularly ugly." Zionism itself is a racist hate crime which has been manifested in the most ugly, barbaric, cruel and fascist form during the 1948 Nakba, but has never ceased since then. Avnery himself had participated in the perpetration of the Nakba 1948 crimes, and he is still proud of that ! He does not regret even his fanning of anti-Arab war hysteria before and during the June 1967 zionist Blitzkrieg invasion of Arab lands. Yet he has got the temerity to purport to appear as if he is opposed to racism while he continues to be a loyal zionist and a supporter of the zionist apartheid regime of Israel. No one can be a zionist and to oppose racism at the same time !
Referring to the recent French individual attack on a zionist school in Toulouse Uri Avnery states as follows :
"Just when calls for boycotting Israel were heard in many places, this act reminded the world of the ravages of anti-Semitism. One had to be very brave to demand the boycott of the "Jewish State" at such a time. It is easy for advocates of Israel to recall the Nazi battle-cry "Kauft nicht bei Juden!" ("Don't buy from Jews")."
What has got the individual's attack on a school (coupled with his previous attack on French soldiers) got to do with "the ravages of anti-Semitism" ? Nothing, unless you are a zionist like Uri Avnery ! Moreover, since Avnery drums up this zionist propaganda into his readers, it should be also pointed out that not only did zionist leaders collaborate with anti-semitism (see, for example,my 14th open letter to the Attorney-General of Australia http://5thautobiography.blogspot.com.au/2009/05/my-fourteenth-open-letter-to-attorney.html), but since its inception in 1897 political zionism encouraged anti-semitism, and it has continued to do so to this day ! Would the Palestinian leaders withdraw their approval of the continued betrayal by Raji Sourani of myself and my children to the ongoing zionist Gestapo torture here, in Australia, before it is too late ?
